- Accumulator
- A single bet that links together two or more separate selections and requires all of them to win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to a team in goals that eliminates the draw outcome and evens the chances of either side winning.
- Bankroll Management
- The practice of deciding how much money to risk on each bet to protect your funds.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that lets you combine multiple markets from a single match into one custom bet.
- Betting Exchange
- A platform where bettors can back and lay bets against each other, rather than against a bookmaker.
- Both Teams to Score (BTTS)
- A market where you bet on whether both sides will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle your bet before the event ends, either to lock in a profit or cut a loss.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes in a match, increasing your chance of winning.
- Edge
- The perceived advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker’s odds based on analysis.
- Expected Goals (xG)
- A metric that estimates the number of goals a team or player should have scored based on the quality of their chances.
- Free Bet
- A bonus bet credited to your account that can be used to place a wager without using your own money.
- Head-to-Head (H2H)
- A comparison of the past results when two teams have played each other.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing bets on a match while it is already in progress.
- Juice
- The commission or fee that a bookmaker adds to the odds, also called vig.
- Kelly Criterion
- A mathematical formula used to determine the optimal size of a bet based on your perceived edge.
- Lay Bet
- A bet that a particular outcome will not happen, typical on betting exchanges.
- Moneyline
- A straightforward bet on which team will win the match, with odds displayed as a positive or negative number.
- Odds Format
- The way odds are presented, such as decimal, fractional, or American.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals (or points) in a match will be more or less than a set figure.
- Price Boost
- A promotion that increases the odds offered on a specific selection.
- Responsible Gambling
- Policies and tools designed to help players stay in control and avoid harmful betting behavior.
- Surebet
- A situation where odds on all possible outcomes guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are judged to be higher than the true probability of the outcome.
- Void Bet
- A bet that is cancelled and the stake is returned, usually because the event did not happen.
- Wagering Requirement
- The number of times you must bet a bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings.
